A true family farm

Chester Meadow Farm was founded in 2002 in Chester NY. Our farm is situated right on the Black Dirt farming region of historic Chester. Adriana and Viorel haved turned an old (early 1800's) farmhouse into the true farmhouse it is today. A small hobby farm, but there is nothing small about their caring and hard work for the farm, their family and each other.

Our Mission is to provide you with the freshest, tastiest products from our barnyard animals raised with love and care.

Can we really say animals raised with love and care? We sure can! Everyone has a name. Everyone gets a snuggle while we go about our chores. All of our birds have acess to fresh air and plenty of room to spread their wings. Even if it is to just sit on the fence. Our goats are hand raised and even live in the house with us until they are easy on their feet and the weather is warm. Our goats are hand milked twice a day and milk is processed the same day. Our grandchildren love helping to gather the eggs. We don't use pesticides or herbicides anywhere on our farm because if it will hurt our children it will hurt our animals.

Sometimes things go because of lack of demand or they are just too darn demanding. Sometimes things get added because of requests or we just thought we'd have some fun. But you'll never know if you don't keep checking with us. Save us with a bookmark, or send a friend our link. We take suggestions seriously, even if our critters don't. What We Do

  • Farm Fresh Eggs

    • Our chickens are raised on vegetarian feed supplemented with fresh greens. Our eggs are deep yellow in color and superb in flavor and are collected daily. We sell them by the dozen and flats.

  • Goat Cheese

    • You will love our "non-goaty" goat cheese! All the flavor but without that strong "goat" flavor. We offer both chèvre and feta made with vegetarian rennet.

  • Rabbits

    • We raise our rabbits on vegetarian diets that include both alfalfa pellets as well as fresh greens and garden trimmings. We offer rabbits: live, meat and bunnies.

  • Goats

    • Occassionally, we have a few too many kids. No, not the two legged kind! Give us a call to see if one may be available. We offer goats: live kids and billies and meat.

  • Berkshire Pigs

    • Did you know Berkshire pigs are pedigreed and registered like a dog or horse? While these are not bred for speed or sporting, they are bred for their tender and extra delicious meat. There really is a difference! Don't take our word for it, call for availability and find out for yourself. We offer suckling and young pigs as live or meat.
